Bomb Man was designed to work work Guts Man in public works, and his specialty is land reclamation and demolitions. Bomb Man can produce powerful and precise explosive devices known as Hyper Bombs, which he can detonate remotely. Bomb Man is fascinated by the mechanics of explosions and is always experimenting to improve their power and control; he likes fireworks and has developed complex and brilliant pyrotechnics for entertainment and fireworks companies. He has a mischievous streak and sometimes enjoys setting off small explosives as practical jokes, and during his testing phase, often got into trouble with his brother Oil Man, much to the dismay of Guts Man and Dr. Light. Bomb Man has a definite zest for life and finds enjoyment in nearly anything; he also has a slight vindictive streak towards his foes and will not shy away from getting them back whenever he can. Bomb Man can be careless with his possessions, losing or accidentally breaking them. In his off time, he enjoys bowling and soccer.
